When you are lazy some days and bored of cooking, you can have this chutney powder with rice and ghee.. Prepare before hand and keep and you can store it for a month in a air tight container and enjoy whenever required!! Ingredients Grated coconut - 1 full coconut Horsegram or Chana Dal - 1 small cup Red chillies - 10 Tamarind - small piece Curry leaves - 1 bunch Salt to taste Method 1. Roast all ingredients seperately one after other except salt and keep it for cooling. 2. Mix the salt and grind to smooth powder.

Make this yummy Badam katli at home that tastes exact like the store brought one. So lets see the recipe now!! Ingredients Badam/Almonds - 1 bowl Milk - 2 tbsp Sugar- 1 cup Elaichi powder- 1/2tsp Kesar- 2 strands Ghee-2 tsp Water- 2 cup Recipe 1. Take a saucepan and add 1 cup of water, let it boil, then add 1 bowl of badam, boil for 5 min, switch off flame and soak it for around 1 hour. 2. After 1 hour peel the almonds. 3. Take a blendee add the peeled almonds, milk and blend into smooth paste. 4. Keep it aside. 5. Now take a pan and sugar and water (2:1 ratio) and keep stirring. 6. Try this restaurant style Mushroom pepper fry!! I am sure you will like it.. Ingredients Mushroom- 1 packet Capsicum- 1 thinly chopped Onion- 1 thinly chopped Garlic - 5 to 6 finely chopped Green chilli - 1 slit Curry leaves - 7 to 8 Pepper powder -1 tsp Oil - 2 tsp Salt to taste Method 1. Take a pan and add oil and heat it up. 2. Add garlic, green chilli and curry leaves and saute for a min. 3. Add onion and saute for a min. 4. Next add capsicum and saute for 2 min. 5. Add mushroom and cook them for 3 min. 6. Now add salt and pepper powdee, mix well and cook till water evaporates. Your mushroom pepper fry is ready to serve.

We all love eating in temples right? Especially we Mangaloreans just love that temple food, that mouth watering rasam, Amchi Kuldev Dalitoy, Chane Ghashi, and some Godshe like Khichdi. But sometimes there are other variety of curries which are super tassssty and I call it tasssty because It gives extra taste without using Onion and garlic. One such recipe is our favourite Batato Batani Vagu. There are variety of recipes for this too.. some make it only with potatoes, some potato and peas, some add cauliflower to it but my ultimate favourite is combination of batani and batato ( peas and potato). So now lets check out the recipe. Our own Pumpkin or Dudhi is widely available in India.. And People from all states prepare different variety of Dudhi.. Some prepare sabzi, some curry and some sweet like halwa. This recipe is authentic Mangalore style. I hope you all will like it!! Ingredients Pumpkin - 15 pieces Rice flour- 3 to 4 tbsp Red chilli pow - 2 tsp Hing pow - pinch Salt to taste Rava or Semolina - 4tbsp Oil for frying Water for making paste Method 1. De Skin pumpkin, make into slices and keep. 2. In a bowl add rice flour, red chilli powder, salt, hing, water and make a paste of it. 3. Maggi is almost everyone's favourite, especially when you are hungry and want something instantly. To enhance the taste we add vegetable and it becomes healthy too. So give it a try and enjoy!! Ingredients Maggi Noodles - 1 packet Oil- 2 tsp Onion - 1 chopped Tomato -1 chopped Carrot- 1 chopped Beans - 5 chopped Mushroom - half cup Chilli pow- 1 tsp Turmeric pow Coriander leaves for garnishing Water as required Method 1. Take a pan and add oil, once oil heats up add onion and saute till golden brown. 2. Next add tomato ans saute till it becomes mushy. 3. Add remaining vegies, saute well for 10 min. 4. Add red chiili and turmeric pow, maggi masala, mix well. 5. Add water and cook vegies for 5 min. 6. Add noodles, some more water and cook for 5 more min. Garnish with coriander leaves. Maharashtrian Style Bharli Vangi / Stuffed Brinjal

Bharleli Vangi is authentic Maharashtrian dish full flavours of Peanut as main ingredient. You see various recipe for Bharleli Vangi but this recipe is a recipe I followed from a Maharashtrian Friend. Do check it out!! Ingredients Brinjal - 6 slit Peanut Powder - Half cup Onion - 1 roughly chopped, 1 finely chopped Garlic - 6 flakes Tomato - 1 finely chopped Grated coconut -  Half cup Ghoda Masala - 2 tsp Red chilli pow - 2 tsp Turmeric pow- pinch Salt to taste Coriander leaves for garnishing Oil- 3tsp Method 1. Take a pan and dry fry roughly chopped onion, coconut and garlic flakes. 2. Take in a pan, cool it and blend to a smooth paste. 3. Slit the brinjals and keep aside. 4. We liked it a lot and asked the recipe from her and from them on I make it regularly and it is both mine and husband's ultimate favourite!! Try it atleast once and I bet you cant stop making it again and again!! Ingredients Raw Mango- 1 cup Boiled Dal - 1 bowl Green chilli - 1 slit Red chilli - 2 slit Garlic flakes - 8 to 10 crushed Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Cumin - 1 tsp Curry leaves - 10 Salt to taste Water as required Ghee- 2 tbsp Recipe 1. Boil dal and green chilli with salt and water and keep aside. 2. In a wok, add ghee and let it melt. 3. Ingredients Chana dal - 2 tsp Urad Dal - 2 tsp Cumin seeds/ Jeera - 1tsp Coriander seeds - 1tsp Methi Seeds - 1/4th tsp Dry Red chilli- 5 Hing powder - Pinch Grated coconut - 1/2 cup Turmeric powder- A pinch Method 1. Dry roast all the ingredient for 10 min and let it cool. 2. Blend it into smooth powder and use in sambar.

Ingredients Ridgegourd - 1 chopped Ghee- 1 tsp Mustard seeds- 1 tsp Red chilli - 2 broken Salt to taste Method 1. Take a pan and add ghee 2. Once ghee becomes hot add mustard seeds and red chilli 3. As mustard crackles add Ridgegourd and salt, mix well and close lid and cook for 10 min. 4. Ridgegourd will reduce its size and will become the way it is in pic. Ingredients Potato -1 cubed Carrot -1 cubed Beans - 5 chopped Brinjal -1 cubed Drumstick -1 cut into pieces Onion -1 cubed Tomato -1 cubed Green chilli -1 slit into 4 pieces Coriander leaves for garnishing Boiled Dal- 1 cup Mustard seeds - 1tsp Red chilli -2 no Curry leaves - 5 to 10 Haldi powder - A pinch Hing powder - A pinch Home made sambar powder - 3 tbsp Tamarind water- 2 tbsp Oil- 3 tsp Salt to taste Water as required Recipe 1. Take a wok and add oil 2. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. 3. Add curry leaves, red chilli and green chilli and saute for a min. 4. Next add some hing powder and mix well. 5.
